GX470 Rear Door Release
Exit through your rear door with this GX470 Rear Door Release mechanism.
The system is a bolt-in solution that requires NO cutting or drilling into your rear door. No pull cords, no unsightly holes, just a replaced rear door handle. The simple installation will give you additional rear door functionality in no time. Perfect for interior sleeping egress and to allow third row passengers to exit easily through the back.
The system uses high quality hardware and materials to put a release in place of the static handle for the rear door. An interior pull handle bolts in, retaining the ability to pull the door closed while replacing the fragile OEM handle.

This mechanism cannot open the door if the doors are locked. The GX470 is set up to lock the doors any time it is removed from ‘Park’. This functionality needs to be verified to ensure complete safety of this door release. Do not drive with the doors unlocked. However, use with pets, children, or loose objects in the cargo area that can inadvertently actuate the handle and open the rear door while moving is not recommended.
